Rachel Allen, Psy.D. is a postdoctoral fellow in Behavioral Medicine within Cooper University Healthcare System since 2019. She completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and predoctoral internship at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in the Department of Psychology.
Rachel’s clinical and research interests lie broadly in health psychology and behavioral medicine, with specialized interests in behavioral cardiology, cognitive functioning in older adults, chronic disease management, medication adherence, and sleep. Rachel provides direct care to patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings within Cooper University Healthcare System. She is actively seeking licensure as she completes her required clinical hours while on fellowship and passes the national licensure exam. She is a member of Society for Behavioral Medicine and Association for Psychologists in Academic Health Centers.
